Following are the  three forms:


  1. SWOT Listing
  2. Action Plan 
  3. SWOT Action Plan


1) Generating a structure is an iterative process.

2) Ideally you  like to break down a question in a MECE way to ensure that:


  • there are no omissions
  • there are no overlaps




3) The way in which you split the aspects into branches of the tree has to be potentially insightful.

4) Each tree level ideally has to have 2-5 bullets/branches at most
